From the front row at The BRITS to frontline with the Brits, stars at
this year’s music awards were queuing up to send a message of
support to the troops.
For The BRIT Awards 2009, the organisers welcomed the charity backstage
to help garner further celebrity interest in the Lap of Honour initiative
and future British Forces Foundation activities on behalf of the troops.
A commemorative board was signed by all the major British artists in
attendance with Coldplay, Girls Aloud, Take That, Pet Shop Boys, The
Ting Tings and triple BRIT winner Duffy all included. International
support was provided by Kylie Minogue, Kings of Leon and Brandon Flowers
from The Killers.
The autographed board will be sold via eBay on 3rd July, to co-incide
with the main Bonhams auction at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, with
all profits going to the BFF.
The BFF also caught up with Tom Jones and Joe Calzaghe again, who have
already added their signatures on the Lap of Honour car. The spectacular
